As of August 24, 2026. This policy applies to custom Shopify consulting, theme, development, migration, launch, and ongoing-support services from HansonCore, LLC DBA Five Acre Code.
Project-specific terms control
Custom services reserve time and produce project-specific work. The signed proposal, statement of work, order form, or services agreement controls the cancellation notice, deposit, milestone, recurring term, renewal, rescheduling, and refund rules for the engagement.
Pricing varies by project and deliverable. No public page creates a fixed service price, minimum, deposit, cancellation charge, or refund entitlement.
Client cancellation
If the written agreement does not state a different process, the Client can cancel in writing. Cancellation is effective when Five Acre Code receives the notice, except that both parties will cooperate on a reasonable wind-down needed to secure project systems, work product, credentials, and in-progress releases.
The Client remains responsible for:
- Accepted or completed services.
- Authorized work performed through the effective cancellation date.
- Work in progress that cannot reasonably be unwound.
- Approved third-party expenses, licenses, purchases, platform fees, and non-cancellable commitments.
- Required handoff, rollback, security, or access-removal work caused by cancellation.
Any unused prepaid amount eligible for return is determined after final accounting under the written agreement. Deposits or reservation fees are non-refundable only when the Client agreed to that treatment in writing and applicable law permits it.
Five Acre Code suspension or termination
We can pause or terminate work as allowed by the Services Terms or written agreement, including for nonpayment, missing dependencies, unlawful or unsafe instructions, abusive conduct, infringement concerns, security risk, or material breach.
When practical, we will identify the blocking condition and available handoff or cure path. Suspension does not erase payment obligations for completed or authorized work.
Changes and rescheduling
A delayed launch, missing content, late approval, store freeze, app/vendor delay, or changed requirement can require a revised schedule and fee estimate. Reserved time is not automatically transferable when a Client postpones work. Any rescheduling charge or forfeiture must be stated in the written agreement.
Recurring support
Recurring support, reserved capacity, and retainers continue and renew only as described in the signed agreement. Cancellation applies prospectively and does not retroactively refund completed work, elapsed service periods, reserved capacity, or non-cancellable commitments unless the agreement or law requires it.
Unused hours or capacity do not roll over or convert to cash unless the agreement expressly says they do.
Refund requests
If you believe an invoice is incorrect or a delivered service materially fails the written agreement, contact support@fiveacrecode.com promptly with the invoice, deliverable, acceptance criterion, and requested resolution.
Where reasonable and consistent with the agreement, Five Acre Code may first offer correction, re-performance, replacement, account credit, or another documented resolution. Refunds are provided only when required by law or agreed in writing after reviewing completed work, approvals, third-party costs, and the available remedy.
Third-party charges
Shopify subscriptions and platform fees, themes, apps, domains, fonts, stock assets, providers, and other third-party purchases are governed by the applicable provider. Five Acre Code cannot issue a refund on another provider's behalf.
