Shopify plan and Function requirements
- Shopify B2B company context is fundamental to the app.
- Payment, delivery, validation, and discount behavior depends on Shopify's current Function availability and store configuration.
- Require payment now requires B2B Marshal Pro and Shopify Plus.
- Send to draft review requires B2B Marshal Pro and Shopify Plus B2B.
- Shopify stores share checkout-resource budgets across installed apps. B2B Marshal uses at most one app-owned resource per checkout capability.
Order-history coverage
Shopify normally limits apps to recent order history. B2B Marshal requests read_all_orders for full-history reconciliation. If that permission is not approved or not granted to the installation, accessible orders can still synchronize, but B2B Marshal labels history coverage as bounded and does not use unseen older records for destructive cleanup.
Currency behavior
Exposure and account metrics remain partitioned by currency. B2B Marshal does not use an exchange-rate source to combine unlike currencies into one portfolio amount. Money-based order rules, order-subtotal discount tiers, and fixed discount benefits are configured in store currency; the checkout Function uses Shopify's presentment-currency rate when evaluating or applying those values.
Financial-history boundaries
B2B Marshal reconciles order-level financial state needed for exposure and payment reliability. It does not provide a general ledger, invoices, dunning, tax accounting, underwriting, credit scoring, or lending. Shopify lifetime totals are displayed separately from B2B Marshal tracked metrics and can differ because their inclusion windows and sources differ.
