Review policies

The problem

Move B2B credit policy out of spreadsheets and checkout exceptions.

B2B teams need one reliable view of account exposure and a controlled way to turn credit policy into checkout behavior. B2B Marshal connects Shopify company, location, order, and payment-term data to merchant-owned policy and auditable enforcement.

Exposure is fragmented

Unpaid balances, overdue orders, terms, company locations, and Shopify lifetime totals live in different records. B2B Marshal reconciles the account view while keeping currencies separate.

Policy is hard to apply

A limit in a spreadsheet does not change checkout. B2B Marshal projects company and location policy into Shopify so eligible controls can run through Shopify Functions.

Exceptions lose context

Credit holds, threshold changes, and draft review decisions need an actor, time, and affected account. B2B Marshal keeps policy and audit history together.

Webhooks are not enough

Events can be delayed, duplicated, or missed. Durable background reconciliation is the correctness path, with webhooks used to pull changes forward.

Features

B2B account operations built around Shopify companies.

Track exposure, set account policy, and apply eligible controls at checkout.

B2B Marshal is an embedded Shopify admin app for merchants already using Shopify B2B. Nothing is enforced until you turn it on. It does not provide lending, underwriting, credit scoring, invoicing, dunning, or a buyer finance portal.

Exposure

Balances, aging, and utilization.

Review unpaid and overdue balances, receivables aging, payment reliability, tracked spend, order cadence, and credit utilization by company or location and currency.

Credit policy

Company limits with location control.

Set a company credit facility, optional tighter location sublimits, two utilization thresholds, and independent company or location credit holds.

Checkout

Account rules through Shopify Functions.

Apply eligible payment actions, checkout blocking, company or location order and quantity limits, shipping restrictions, free shipping, and tiered order-subtotal or product/variant-quantity discounts for tracked B2B accounts.

Operations

Reconciliation and audit history.

Use durable synchronization, checkout-resource health checks, scoped recovery actions, policy history, store audit views, and plan-aware CSV export.

Platform requirements

B2B Marshal plans and Shopify capabilities are separate.

B2B Marshal depends on Shopify B2B company context. Most account controls are available on Core or higher when Shopify supports the underlying Function. Require payment now requires B2B Marshal Pro and Shopify Plus. Send to draft review requires B2B Marshal Pro and Shopify Plus B2B. Pro remains available to non-Plus stores, but those two actions stay unavailable without the required Shopify capability.

Data and security

Financial account state is stored deliberately and documented directly.

B2B Marshal stores the company, location, order-balance, payment-schedule, policy, synchronization, and audit data required to provide account operations. It does not store customer contact profiles, customer addresses, product line items, card numbers, saved payment credentials, or raw webhook bodies. Checkout Functions read compact app-owned policy projections from Shopify and fail open when a tracked projection is missing or inactive.

Pricing

Start with visibility. Add policy and governance as needed.

Free monitors up to five merchant-selected companies. Core adds account policy and enforcement for up to 50 companies. Growth raises capacity to 100 and adds audit visibility/export. Pro removes the B2B Marshal company cap and adds the app entitlement for Plus-only actions.
