Settings contains store-wide defaults, Shopify and B2B Marshal plan facts, synchronization status, and checkout-resource recovery information.
Customer messages
B2B Marshal uses merchant-managed messages for credit holds, credit-policy blocks, free shipping, combined order/item discounts, and supported order or quantity validations. A blank discount message omits that optional checkout label without disabling the discount. Review messages for accuracy and tone before enabling the related checkout control. Do not place secrets, payment credentials, or unnecessary personal data in a message.
Payment method labels
Enter the exact payment method labels Shopify shows at checkout. A method can be configured as Always hide for tracked B2B checkouts or made available as an optional threshold action. Always-hide and optional choices are mutually exclusive.
Discount stacking
Store-wide settings define how B2B Marshal's combined order/item discount resource can stack with shipping, product, and order discounts and how its free-shipping discount can stack with product and order discounts. Shopify remains authoritative for valid combinations; shipping-with-shipping is unavailable because Shopify permits only one shipping discount per order.
Store and plan facts
B2B Marshal displays Shopify plan/B2B capability separately from the active B2B Marshal plan. A Pro subscription does not make a store Shopify Plus. Consequential policy writes refresh capability state before allowing a Plus-only action.
Data synchronization
- Company, order, refund, payment, and draft changes are refreshed through authenticated webhooks and durable background reconciliation.
- Settings shows store, company, recent-order, and full-audit synchronization state and timestamps without exposing internal retry or tuning controls.
- Non-dismissible checkout-resource alerts provide a focused Fix or Retry action when an app-owned resource is missing or drifted.
- Refresh shipping options is available in the shipping editor after Shopify delivery-profile changes.
- If company or financial facts remain stale, preserve the displayed timestamps and affected scope and contact B2B Marshal support.
Broad store, company, recent-order, and full-audit refresh controls are reserved for Shopify review/testing and are not part of the standard merchant interface. The periodic full order audit remains an operational backstop rather than a routine merchant button.
