Billing Behavior

Shopify-managed billing behavior, plan changes, downgrade handling, and billing support for Cart Marshal.

For current plan prices, published-rule limits, trials, support levels, and the complete feature matrix, use Cart Marshal Pricing.

Cart Marshal uses Shopify managed pricing. You choose and approve your plan through Shopify, and recurring charges appear on your Shopify invoice.

Shopify managed pricing

Shopify hosts the plan selector and billing approval flow. Cart Marshal reads the active Shopify subscription and maps the Shopify App Pricing plan handle to Free, Core, Growth, or Pro for feature access.

If your subscription previously used the Starter name, Cart Marshal may display the equivalent Core access after your subscription is refreshed.

Trials and promotions

Paid plans include a 14-day free trial through Shopify managed pricing. Any temporary promotion appears in Shopify's hosted plan selector or on the Cart Marshal Shopify App Store listing. Review the hosted selector for the price and promotion attached to your approval.

Plan refresh timing

After you approve a plan change, Cart Marshal refreshes your subscription and returns you to Settings. If you make a change elsewhere in Shopify, it may take a little longer to appear while the subscription refreshes.

Downgrades

If a downgrade moves a published rule outside your new plan, Cart Marshal unpublishes the affected rule and keeps its configuration so you can review it later.

Published-rule limits count rules currently live at checkout. Draft, unpublished, and archived rules do not consume published-rule capacity.

Billing support

Contact Cart Marshal support if a charge fails, your plan does not refresh, or you have a question about an upgrade or downgrade. Include your shop domain and the plan shown in Settings.
