Processing role
Cart Marshal processes merchant app configuration to provide checkout rule management. Customer checkout fields used by Shopify Functions are evaluated at runtime and are not copied into Cart Marshal's app database as customer profiles. Text that authorized store users enter in rule fields and audit comments is stored as merchant configuration and audit data.
